6&7
Ch. 6 Q 5
I was on a wrestling team the whole of my high school experience. The first 2 years we were not successful our coach was very aggressive and would not hesitate to punish us for falling short of his expectations, to put it into perspective running was his go to punishment and i lost 35 pounds in just one winter season, and this was normal for a lot of the team. We did not have a good two seasons but then he quit to coach at another school and we got a new coach. This coach did a great job at building a relationship with us, he was strict but also fair and fun at the same time. what he did differently that worked is he made us want to work hard for the team, although its an individual sport we became a much better team and to this day he is leading the top team in Indiana.
Ch. 7 Q 3
I am an optimist, at least at this moment, for the future of women and other minorities. For example my younger sister is one of the top of her class at IU and she is also a feminist, she is also militant about her views. She will soon be entering the workforce along with many other educated women (and men with education meaning they are not sexist) and will begin taking top spots in the work place. This will also be happening as the older way of thinking begins die off with age leading to more progressive thinking.
